R&S®AMU-K84 LTE Release 9 + Enhanced Features

Key Facts

LTE Release 9 is the intermediate step on the LTE evolution path from Release 8 to LTE-Advanced
(=Release 10). The R&S®AMU-K84 option for the R&S®AMU200A covers all relevant LTE Release 9 physical layer features. The R&S®AMU-K84 option requires the R&S®AMU-K55 LTE option.

   

Features include:

  • Generation of multimedia broadcast multicast services (MBMS) / multimedia broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN) sub-frames including PMCH
    • R&S®AMU-K84 LTE Release 9 + Enhanced Features Key Facts
  • Generation of downlink positioning reference signals (PRS)
    • R&S®AMU-K84 LTE Release 9 + Enhanced Features Key Facts
  • Support of dual-layer beamforming test (TX Mode 8)
    • R&S®AMU-K84 LTE Release 9 + Enhanced Features Key Facts
  • Mapping of four to eight logical antenna ports to up to four physical TX antennas
